Tasks

Development of new Aerodynamic concepts in the field of Automotive, Aircrafts or other Transport means, Sports and Industrial applications.
Geometry preparation and networking.
Performing CFD simulation.
Evaluation and interpretation of the calculation results.
Presentation of the results and elaboration of optimization options.
Agreement and Clarification of technical details with the customers.

Background

Master or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
Relevant multi-year professional experience.
Sound knowledge in CFD calculation.
Prefereabily having used Star CCM+ and/or OpenFoam software packages.
Experience working on the field of Motor Vehicles technology, is an advantage.
Proficient English spoken and written.
High degree of organizational and team working skills.
Independent, accurate and self-responsible.

Holistic development and design of light-weight structures, from prototypes to the final product.
Design and developement of Fiber Composite components based on various manufacturing processes such as RTM, autoclave or presses.
Selection of suitable materials and manufacturing processes.
Preparation and presentation of the results and elaboration of optimization options.
Agreement and Clarification of technical details with the customers.

Background

Master, Bachelor or High Technical Education in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
Ideally more than 3 years of professional experience in the field of new products development.
Experience on the design of components or tools, prefereabily using CREO.
Knowledge on the field of fiber composite, plastic composites and joining technologies.
Basic knowledge of plastics technology, material properties and molding processes.
Good knowledge of MS-Office.
Proficient English spoken and written.

Job Description

Perform data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to determine root cause of issues.

Work with design, process, and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions on both new and mature products and technologies. Define and finalize production screening guard-band specifications based upon design intent and characterization result.
Perform statistical data analysis on mass data.Perform yield analyses and correlation analyses for all levels of test — pareto building, statistics, etc. Define characterization plan and generate characteon.

Key Qualification

• Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of product engineering experience.
• Analog and digital IC evaluation report analysis.
• ATE characterization and data collection test program experience.
• Analog and digital IC high volume manufacturing experience.
• Statistical data analysis knowledge.
• High volume product yield management.
• Ability to define and direct design of experiment for root cause determination.
• Excellent communication skills to work with internal team members and external suppliers.
• Travel is required.

BSEE / MSEE is required

To be involved in a KTM project, we are looking for a Design Engineer who is creative and passionate about motorbikes and bicycles!

Tasks

Development of bikes and bike parts, including frame and suspension, 3D/2D modelling, analysis and Documentation.
Identify and select the most suitable materials.
Provide support to manufacturing.
Adhere to budgetary, timing and scope constraints.
Agreement of technical details with the decision-makers, customer and suppliers.

Background

Bachelor or Master degreee in Industrial Engineering.
More than 3 years of professional Work experience, ideally in the bike/moto
industry.
High CAD skills, prefereabily using CREO.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and raw materials. Carbon composites is a big plus.
Knowledge of Windchill data management system and FEA analysis software, is desirable.
Proficient English spoken and written.
Collaborative, detail‐oriented and independent decision maker with the ability to find the compromise between production needs and design goals.
